OTRA MANERA DE VER EL DESNUDO





ANOTHER WAY TO SEE THE NAKED ONE 





















En el año de 1998 Salvador Rivera comenzó una serie pictórica que el mismo ha prolongado por 10 años y que le lleva a proponer sus hipótesis tanto pictóricas como teóricas acerca de su propio arte.









 









Esa serie comenzó con un solo cuadro que se llamo de ese modo “Otra manera de ver el desnudo”  (el dueño del cuadro es Gualberto Reyes, un coleccionista de arte en la ciudad de Pachuca, estado de Hidalgo, México).

La serie “Otra manera de ver el desnudo” fue expuesta por primera vez en la Universidad Autónoma de Hidalgo, en ella aparecían varios cuadros de los cuales uno de ellos esta en el acervo de la universidad.

Otra manera de ver el desnudo plantea como una idea principal, la importancia que tiene el observador de la obra, el artista proporciona la oportunidad para que el observador formule su propio punto de vista de acuerdo a su conocimiento, experiencia, y sobretodo la forma que en su mente y en su conciencia se conforman esos desnudos.

Los primeros cuadros fueron exclusivamente desnudos femeninos, pero el concepto ha venido transformándose y en la serie se han incorporado también desnudos masculinos.

La idea de Salvador se basa en la construcción de la forma, y como las líneas y volúmenes pueden conformar en la mente humana un objeto conocido, pero, si a través de la experiencia y conocimiento del objeto, el objeto no es conocido, no podrá conformarse en la mente del observador , o sea no será acreditado, la mente no conformara, ninguna imagen y no tendrán sentido ciertas líneas.

 Comprobando la hipótesis de Theodor Adorno en su “Dialéctica Negativa”, de que nunca el conocimiento del objeto va a ser mas que el objeto mismo, el conocimiento que el espectador tiene del objeto, es del espectador, no del objeto en si mismo,  dicho de otra manera, el espectador va construyendo su mismo conocimiento del objeto.

En este segmento de la idea del arte, la maestría del artista es pintar con unos solos trazos, todas las formas, al mismo tiempo, conocidas sobre el desnudo o el objeto, las que el pintor pueda imaginar, encontrarlas, es tarea del espectador.

 

La serie ha crecido en sus propuestas y en el número de cuadros, también, la idea va cristalizándose mas y la propuesta afinándose.

The first pictures were exclusively naked feminine, but the concept has come becoming and in the series, they have also been gotten up naked masculine. The idea of Salvador is based on the construction of the form, and as the lines and volumes can conform in the human mind a known object, but through the experience and knowledge of the object, the object is not well-known, will not be able to be satisfied in the mind of the observer, that is it will not be credited, the mind did not conform, no certain image and lines will not have sense.  Verifying Theodor Adorno’s hypothesis in his “Negative Dialectic”, of which never the knowledge of the object is going to be plus that the same object, the knowledge that the spectator has of the object, is of the spectator, not of the object in itself, said of another way, the spectator is constructing his same knowledge of the object. In this segment of the idea of the art, the masters of the artist is to paint with single outlines, all the forms, at the same time, known on the naked one or the object, those that the painter can imagine, to find them, is task of the spectator.

The series has grown in its proposals and in the number of pictures, also, the idea is crystallized more and the proposal sharpening itself.
